Happy Holidays!
As we close out 2022, it’s a good time to reflect.
It’s been a great year and a record year for real estate closings here at Sugarman Law.
Prices are flattening out, houses are staying on the market longer and everything has cooled down with respect to bidding wars. Bidding wars still happen, but everything is relative, and in Long Island, we seem to be getting back to pre-pandemic real estate trends.
Interest rates continue to rise, but people are buying and selling and we have been happy to help them on their journey.
Real estate might not be in your plans, but a new year is a great time to look at your estate planning. Have you updated your will? Do you have one at all? Did you go through any major life events this past year? Marriage? Divorce? Do you have a health care proxy? Are your advanced directives in order? If you resonate with any of those questions, it’s time to have a conversation with me.
What about your business? Do you need to review or create contracts? Is it time to incorporate?
We are here to chat anytime.
We wrote a lot of content in 2022 including blogs on consumer protection law, an entire real estate ABCs series, healthcare proxies, mortgage modifications and short sales, title reports, small business matters and more. Our past blogs are available on our website if you want to go back and read anything that might pertain to you now!
In November, I attended a coaching summit in Orlando and learned a lot. I head back in February for another session. It’s always my goal to bring the best experience to my clients and through professional development, I can do just that.
I’d like to say thank you to the wonderful team here at Sugarman Law, Rhonda and Steve, for another successful year.
A highlight of my year was the honor of receiving a Power Professionals/Power Attorneys of New York award from Schneps Media and also being selected by them as a 2022 Power Lawyer.
I’m looking forward to family time over the holidays and a trip to New Orleans for New Years! I may not be available, but my staff will be in the office to answer your calls if you need us.
What are your holiday plans? Any fun traditions you’d like to share?
Happy Holidays! Happy New Year! May 2023 be a year of joy, prosperity and good health.
